Welcome to Dancing Dogs Yoga!

Whether you have taken thousands of classes somewhere else, or you are considering taking your first class ever, we want your first experience with Dancing Dogs Yoga to be a flawless experience you will never forget.

Come prepared to practice, ready to learn, and willing to explore! New? Consider taking our Yoga 101 6 week series or beginner class. Remember, all classes are all levels and you may attend any class on the schedule.

What should you expect at DDY?

Great people. Great energy. Great teachers. Great yoga.

We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and community. We are unlike any yoga studio you will ever experience. The first time you come to the studio, please arrive 15-20 minutes early. This will give you time to register at the front desk, fill out a waiver if needed, and get prepared for class. We will show you around the facility and make sure you are set up for success. Come with an open mind. This practice will change your life if you commit to the work!

What do you wear?

Wear comfortable clothing. Clothing that wicks away sweat is optimal, but any athletic clothing will work just fine. We do have a boutique on our first floor if you forget something. Please note, that our COVID-19 policy requires proof of vaccination.

What will you need?

We request proof of vaccination. It is not required at this time, but it helps us keep the community safer. Bring a bottle of water and a hand towel, and your own mat and Yogitoes towel. If you do not have your own yoga mat, we have mats for sale and to rent at the studio.

Most importantly, come to Dancing Dogs Yoga with an open mind and an open heart. Rome was not built in a day. Give yourself time to get familiar with our yoga practice. Like any new activity, it will take a few classes to get familiar with new poses, new muscles you will be feeling, and the new language you will be hearing. The more you come, the more natural the yoga practice will become. You will get stronger with every practice, physically and mentally.

Where do I Park?

If you can't run, bike, or walk to DDY, you can park in our lot (first come, first served) or in the Inman Park neighborhood.

There is free street parking on Edgewood and Waddell, as well as several adjacent streets.  Please take care not to block a driveway! We like to be good neighbors.
