Learn how to give back to your yoga community through the service of hands-on assisting. Our hands-on assisting program is the best around. Jeonghun Stewart and Curtis Tucker are both Certified Baptiste Yoga teachers and senior Dancing Dogs Yoga Savannah trainers. Our program will give you all of the tools to assist a power vinyasa yoga class with confidence, ease and skill.
This transformational program is guanteed to elevate your practice and empower YOU and your community!
Our hands in service are the pathway to our hearts. This program will incorporate practicing yoga, learning key alignment principles, giving and receiving assists based upon the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga methodology. Learn hands on adjustments, anatomy and the intention behind skillful assisting. Graduates are eligible to assist at DDY after completing an apprenticeship. Power up your practice and your life!
Schedule:: Friday: 5:30pm-9:30pm Saturday: 8:30am-8:30pm with meal breaks Sunday: 8:30am-5:30pm
You do not need to be a teacher to attend this program. One year of yoga practice is encouraged. 18 CEU's available.
Meditation: Finding Ease In Stillness

Join Shelley Lowther for a Meditaton Workshop designed to being more stillness and ease into your life.
In addition to the strong asana practice embodied by the Journey into Power sequence, meditation is the second of the 3 techniques of Baptiste Yoga. The purpose of meditation in Baptiste Yoga is to anchor your consciousness to the present moment, be fully awake in your body, aware of your thoughts, and surrender to stillness. Our meditation practice will allow you the practitioner to cultivate a quiet consciousness from which your emotions and intellect can flow.
This workshop is beginner friendly. We will introduce basic techniques including proper seating position, breath exercises, and a variety of meditation practices. We will start class with some general yoga philosophy, and leave time at the end for any questions so you can start your own personal practice.
